At Wrestlemania, Chris Jericho will defend the WWF Intercontinental Championship belt against a man who he has besmirched many times over, and that's the WWF Commissioner, William Regal. With the title on the line, and
Regal saying that he will do anything it takes to win the Title, what are Jericho's feelings on this situation?

Chris Jericho sat down with Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly at the
Wrestlemania Fan Axxess and here is what was said:

Question: Having fun?
Chris Jericho: Yes I am.

Question: 65,000 on Sunday to take on William Regal!
Chris Jericho: The Golden Boy, William Regal.

Question: Thoughts on Wrestlemania.
Chris Jericho: There are about 5 matches that can really steal the
show and they can be 5 star classics. There's so much going on and it's
going to be a tremendous show and a tremendous night to be a WWF fan and a true blue Jerichoholic.

Question: We were talking before with Chris Benoit and they talked
about last year's Wrestlemania. It was his first Wrestlemania, same with
Jericho. What was his feelings last year?
Chris Jericho: It's great. This Axxess thing, if it was here when he
was a kid, he'd be here for sure. He has been watching Wrestlemania since
the first one, and that was before pay per view. His dream was to be at a
Wrestlemania and be the Intercontinental Champion. Both of those have
happened. It's such a hyped up thing and to be a part of it is tremendous.

Question: Chris used to go back and look at Steamboat/Savage over
and over. What for?
Chris Jericho: At the time, things were so much different. It was a
place for big guys. The main events were Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. It
was great, but not wrestling wise. Savage and Steamboat had an action paced
match. That whole match, back and forth in his head was great. He and his
friend used to act out that match, and there were so many 2 counts, which
are false finishes.

Question: Now that you're doing commercials, what about acting like
The Rock?
Chris Jericho: Acting is definitely something that would be fun to
do. Wrestling lends itself to that, because they do a lot of acting in the
skits. He would love to do it.

Question: There could be a lot of mat action at Wrestlemania with
Regal and Jericho. It depends on who can control the pace.
Chris Jericho: Jericho has known Regal for a while, and his style
compliments Jericho's. If they want to do the European grappling, he can do
that, and if he wants to do the Japanese beat the hell out of you style,
Jericho can do that as well.

Question: What was Jericho's thoughts, watching as the two programs
were on Monday night?
Chris Jericho: When he left WCW, it was a terrible place. There was
a number of aging guys who didn't want to pass the torch to the younger
guys. They stagnated, becoming boring, due to that. They eventually went
out of business and the only people that can do something with WCW is the
McMahon family. In the long run, it's going to be great and he's pretty
happy about it.

Question: What do you do on the Internet?
Chris Jericho: I enjoy surfing the web, but a lot of the stuff on
there isn't true. It's a good place to go to get opinions.

Question: What's the craziest thing that you have read about
yourself on the Internet?
Chris Jericho: The craziest thing that was said was that he would
quit wrestling and go play Hockey. He started that one himself! Another
good one was when he was going to the WWF, he changed his links page up,
and he took the WCW link off the page one day. People thought that he was
going to the WWF for sure. The next week, he took the WWF link off the page
and put the WCW one back up, and people thought he was going back to WCW! He was playing a game of cat and mouse with everyone on the Internet.

Question: If you were in Survivor, could you win?
Chris Jericho: Yeah, and all it takes to win is to manipulate people.

Question: This Sunday, it's The Rock and Stone Cold for the WWF
Title. You have to appreciate this.
Chris Jericho: It's going to be tremendous, and it's two of the
biggest stars in the sport. Usually in wrestling, you have the good guy and
the bad guy. In this one, there is no good guy or bad guy. It's up to the
fans. It doesn't get much bigger than Wrestlemania. The mood is going to be
electric.

Question: Knowing that Regal is the Commissioner, do you think he
has anything under his sleeve for Wrestlemania 17?
Chris Jericho: He's the Commissioner and he has been using that to
his advantage. At Wrestlemania, it's going to be a one on one contest with
the Commissioner and Jericho. It should be a barn burner. A real barn burner.

Question: In the 2 years that you have been in the WWF, who is your
toughest opponent?
Chris Jericho: Every time he shows up to the building and finds out
he's wrestling Triple H, Chris Benoit or The Rock, they are his favorite
ones to work with. They are the hardest ones to work with, and he has his
best matches with them. Especially Chris Benoit. There's a lot of chemistry
there, and they compliment each other's styles. They have had classics in
the past, and hopefully they can do it again. Chris Jericho gets chopped
hard by Chris Benoit, and he comes backstage with a red chest, and Jericho
chops Benoit just as hard, but it doesn't do anything. Benoit is made of
steal. He truly is Mr. Roboto.

Question: Thoughts on the Gimmick Battle Royal.
Chris Jericho: The funny thing about this is that half the people
won't know who these people are. The long time fans will remember.

The Big Bossman yelled towards Chris Jericho saying what's up and Chris
Jericho seemed to be good friends with the Big Bossman.

Question: Back to the Gimmick Battle Royal.
Chris Jericho: Explains who the Gobbledy Gooker is, and he was a man
dressed up like a turkey and he came out of a huge egg that was hyped up
for weeks and weeks, but all it was, was a bad gimmick.

There you have it, Chris Jericho here at Axxess!
